Social Media Marketing

The goal of social media marketing (SMM) is to build a relationship with people who become so excited about the information you provide for them that they feel compelled to share it with others. Sounds easy-peasy, but it isn’t.

Socia;lMediaThe problem is that most people who have been online for any length of time have been active on their favorite social network for a while and have amassed hundreds, perhaps thousands, of friends/followers. A good number of these contacts are flooding the network with their own messages from pictures of their kitty cat wearing a festive hat to the sumptuous dinner they are about to eat.

Trumpets blare. You have a message to share with them about your business. Perhaps it’s a special offer. Perhaps it’s a revolutionary life-changing idea. Perhaps it’s just to say “Hi”.

You become discouraged because not only are your followers not indicating that they “like” what you have posted but no one shares it with their contacts. BECAUSE THEY JUST DON’T CARE.
The problem is: your message is an interruption to their being social.

We develop a SMM strategy based upon message frequency, relevancy and, most importantly, engaging with your contacts to energize them to share your message with others within their social network.

Rule #1: Dpn’t use social media to sell.
Rule #2: Use social media to build your brand without selling.
Rule #3: Reread Rule #1.
